Question and Answer

Q: What comes after the ability to focus?

A: pretty much everything; …that is, everything that follows from focus.

“Everything” in another sense though, a broader one, comes before focus too.  In other words, there is everything (the entirety of an environment) before focus, then there is (the ability to) focus, and then there is everything that follows from focus. What follows from focus? Thought and action follow from focus, along with everything that results from thought and action.

hypermodel brings focus to spatial information (or begins to). “Everything” comes before it. What comes after it is thought and action, and the results of thought and action.

There are three things:

  1. accumulation of information (the totality of an information environment)
  2. techniques of focus (within the information environment)
  3. what follows from focus: thought and action, and the results of thought and action
